EMDR AND IFS INTENSIVE THERAPY

Therapy intensives offer an uninterrupted, accelerated approach to healing that can create powerful shifts in a short amount of time. Instead of spreading therapy out over months, intensives provide extended sessions over one to four days—allowing you to dive deep with more ease, and experience faster, lasting results. This format is ideal if you’re feeling stuck, have a busy schedule, or simply want to make more progress in less time. Many clients find intensives more cost-effective than ongoing weekly therapy, especially when facing complex trauma, long-held patterns, or urgent needs. â€‹

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps the brain reprocess and integrate painful or traumatic memories so they no longer feel emotionally overwhelming. It’s a structured, research-based approach that can bring relief from anxiety, PTSD, and past wounds by helping the nervous system complete its natural healing process.

What is IFS?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate and non-pathologizing model that helps you connect with the different “parts” of yourself—like critical or perfectionistic parts, anxious parts, or younger wounded parts—with curiosity and compassion. IFS helps reduce painful emotions and shift patterns in your life through restoring self-leadership and trust from the inside out.

Why Choose an Intensive?

•Accelerated healing: Deep, focused sessions allow for rapid processing and insight. The length of sessions are individually tailored with most choosing to meet from 3-5 hours a day, up to 4 days a week. In-person intensives take place in Portland, Oregon, or may be via telehealth.

•Cost-effective: More progress in fewer sessions can mean less time and money over the long term.

•Customized support: Tailored to your goals and your pace, whether you’re new to therapy or experienced.

•Flexible format: Ideal for those with limited availability or who prefer fewer transitions between sessions.

If you’re ready to do deeper work and move forward with clarity and compassion, an EMDR + IFS intensive may be the right next step. Contact me to schedule a free consultation to discuss if intensives are the right fit for you.
